Do you have any tips for someone who has to walk a lot who has Patella Femoral Syndrome? - patella femoral replacement
I need some advice, so that does not hurt my knee and is annoyed when runs around the school. Ideas?

I was diagnosed with PTF in the army, there are about 7 years. I was told to take ibuprofen and try to be no longer running. So do not work at all.
Finally, I always had shoes that help to pronation and make sure you stretch your calves, thighs and quads very well every morning. I really think it was the shoe he.
If I understand correctly, is basically the tendons pull too hard on the knee, initially in an imbalance of stress on the knee.
The cause is unknown, but his shoes and stretching really helped me. It has not disappeared completely, but quite manageable. The shoes you wear are called Brooks and addiction. Good luck!
